Sheep/Goat fencing

What size woven wire fence would you reccomend for a sheep/goat/cattle pasture? I've looked at some "Stay Tuff" fencing that is spaced from 3", 6", or 12" sized at the bottom of the fence.

Any suggestions for me? Main thing I'm worried about is the animals getting their head stuck in the fence.

Thanks,

Brian

3" verticals are great because the animals can not geet thier heads in it.If you
are putting up a lot of fence the 3" can be too expensive.
Premier sells a woven wire that has 9" verticals. This will allow an animal room to
pull it's head out ,but not so much that a small one can crawl through.
