fenceing??

hi there,

i live in Hedrick Iowa (just north of Ottumwa) and have about 2 acres i am wanting to fence off to run a cow / calf and a few goats in.

i am thinking i should get woven wire just for the fact that i know goats can be a real pain to keep in a fence at times.

i will have 5 cornors and 2 ends, with about 900 running feet total (a large barn will make up the rest as im plan on fenceing in 2 sides of it) and somewhere i need to put in at least one gate, prob. two.

do you install fenceing? can you give me a quote of everything in total or just the stuff i need to do the job and a number of who you would recomend to do it? what is the going rate around here to install such a fence?

any help would be great. thanks. jered brisby

We do not install fences. Contact me directly if you want me to get a quote of materials for you. My contact is mfarrier@premier1supplies.com. We do not sell wood posts, so you will need to get them elsewhere. For people that do install, you can contact Adam Lee at 319-461-9112, he's in the Mt. Pleasant area or Rod Bontrager at 319-936-7838 from the Wellman area. For more people, contact your county extension office. Often they have a list of people that install fences.
