Shortening Electro Netting

Is it possible to shorten an Electro Net Fence. I am using the Electrostop (10/42/12) to create temporary pasture. The length of the fence line is about 30" more than 2 rolls of the fencing. I have another roll but doubling it up at the end is an enormous pain. I'm guessing this isn't feasible but I thought I'd ask.

The best way to deal with excess netting is to double it back along itself. There is no good way to shorten it.
