slick shearing market lambs

What would be the best steps to slick shearing market lambs for someone who has never slick sheared market lambs?

Danielle,
It's best to wash the lambs first. If they have a lot of wool, rough shear first with a shear head and a 13 or 20 tooth comb. Then go back with the Clipper head and Fine Blade set or Surgical Blade set to do the finishing work for the show ring.
