I HAVE BEEN TRIMMING THE GOATS HOOVES AND RUNNING THEM TROUGH A COPPER SULFATE HOOF BATH EVERY 2 OR 3 DAYS FOR ABOUT 3 TIMES. SOME GOT BETTER BUT OTHERS DIDN'T. IT IS HARD TO RUN THEM TROUGH A HOOF BATH AGAIN BECAUSE THE GOATS ARE GRAZING AT A REMOTE AREA OUT OF A 1000 THERE PROBALLY 300 THAT STILL HAVE IT. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS?
THANKS

The goats need a good soak in the copper sulfate so the meds will soak up in between the toes. Let them stand in it for about 15 minutes then run to a clean pasture (if you can). If this still does not take care of the problem then you will need to use the vaccine Footvax. The Footvax will need 2 vaccinations at 6 weeks apart. (No more then 6 month apart.) Hope this helps.
