4000 Shearers

I just got by new 4000 shearers in the mail and sheared some of my sheep with them. I kept them well oiled but they seemed loud. Are they supposed to be louder than the older (about 5 years old) 3000 model? Should I be concerned??? Thanks.

Two things could be happening. First-Check the tension on the machine to make sure it is set right. Second remember the 4000 motor has more power and tork so it may be a little louder. If you still feel that it is not right call us at 800-282-6631 so we can figure out what is going on or send the machine back to us and we will take a look at it. wrote:
