Winter

This is my first year using electric poultry netting to protect my chickens. Do folks take it down and store it for winter? The forecast is for sleet and ice next week. Thanks.

Depends on were you live. If it is a light sleet and ice then the net should be fine. If in northern states were you get 1/2-2 inches or more of ice then the ice will pull the netting down. Here is Iowa we usually take the netting down in the winter when there is more then 2 inches of snow and heavy ice.
