Fiberglass poles for horse fence

Are the fiberglass poles suitable for horse fence? I'd like to use electric rope with possibly a tape top strand for visibility. Metal T-posts have safety caps; is something like that needed for the fiberglass poles? This would be for a small pasture for two horses. The horses would probably be locked out of it at night.

I would not suggest FiberRods for a horse enclosure just because knowing the general nature of horses, they are a "fight or flight" animal. And usually it is the flight reaction you witness versus the fight reaction! If the horses were to run into a post with great force, it could splinter and break. Splinters from FiberRod posts are tiny and painful.
I would suggest using Steel T-posts if it was in a semi-permanent /permanent pasture. If you wish to put up, take down and rotate, I would use the PowerPosts or PigTail Posts. You can alternate between the different types if you wanted also. I sure hope that helps. Thank you.
