using bushes in place of posts

Can I tie off my intellitwine 2.25 to branches to get tension and drape the twine over branches in place of posts without some kind of insulator? This is for approx. 2000' using a PRS 100 solar energizer.
p.s.- I am already doing this, I just was wondering if there is a better or preferred way.

If the branches are dry they will not be a problem. If they are green or get wet they will take voltage from your fence. It is best to use posts and insulators to make sure that this does not happen.
