goats in dog fence?

Has anyone ever tried to contain a few goats (1-2) with typical dog containment systems? Are they smart enough to get it? We would love to have them roam around our small property, grazing, but do not want them to escape and are not properly fenced. Do you think it would work?

Ummm, could you please explain what you mean by a "typical" dog containment? Most people I know use fencing, i.e. chain link or wood, but I don't get the impression this is what you are referring to?

Thanks...

Goats aren't really reliable as grazers. For the most part, they prefer "browse," woody plants. If there are trees, shrubs, or flowers that you don't want eaten, you may want to fence them out of those areas.
