Broken Ground on ElectroNet

I have several rolls of electronet where the ground strand has broken & there isn't enough to tie it together. The repair kit that came with the netting didn't have extra ground material - only extra electrified strands.

The netting seems to be working fine. Do I need to repair it and if so, how?

The bottom strand is non conductive thus you can splice the strand back together with simple nylon cord or similar material.
