choosing a electrict and energizer

We are trying to figuire out the correct electric fence to and energizer to use. Our fence is 3 strand smooth wire but we want to enhance it with 2 strands of electric tape we think. the run is 1500 feet per strand. It is for a pasture so solar is perferend but if we added a 150 feet we could have 110. This is for horses and foals. Would like all of your advise

If at all possible set it up to use plug in energizer. You get a lot more for your $ and less chance of problems. It would be best to call for there are many questions we need answers to before we can tell you what would be best.
