Battery for the Intellishock 10. Yes, a 12 volt battery—the more amp hours the less often you have to recharge the battery. Using a sealed lead acid deep cycle battery is the better choice. Depends on if you have heavy weed load and how much fence as to how long the battery will last between charges. I use a 44 amp hour—these seem to last about 1-2 weeks between charges. You can get a battery charge meter to check to see if the battery needs charged. Keep the battery more then 40% charged. If using a car 12 volt battery this will need charged more often. For the 20B the 12 volt 12 amp hour battery is the largest one that will fit in the box. Item number 121600.
