Creep gate parts:

  • Adjustable bar. The adjustable horizontal bar gives you a choice of 6 heights (18" to 28" with increments of 1" to 2"). The bar is held in place with a spring-loaded clip.
  • Eye loops. Two eye loops at ends allow attachment with a steel pin (sold separately #965200); to wire panels, metal bar gates and/or wooden panels.
  • Rod and roller. Includes 1/2 in. diameter steel rods with an outer white plastic roller. To make wider spaces, just pull the steel rod and drop it in any of 11 different holes.

Benefits

Galvanized products have triple the useful life in humid climates.

Both horizontal and vertical internal bars can be altered to allow the openings to "grow" with the lambs or kids. White plastic pipe on rods spin freely when lambs move through them.

This is a very sturdy creep gate. I really like the pins to attach to my goat panels. We set the horizontal bar on the lowest setting and the yearling angora goats were still able to get through. We added another horizontal bar several inches lower by ziptying on an old, broken broom stick. I would like to see modifications to this gate to allow the user to lower the horizontal bar further than currently allowed. When the kids are too old for creep feeding I will be taking the gate to the local welder and have him add on more holes below the existing holes. Overall, I do like this gate and will make my own modifications to keep the smaller angora yearlings out.

Very durable creep gate that is great for keeping mature goats out of the creep feeder. I would like more holes for width adjustment to keep out yearlings while still allowing nursing kids access to the creep feeder. We modified one of our creep gates with a 2" board on each outside opening with the rest of the vertical bars at their smallest spacing, which works quite well.

This is a great creep gate, very sturdy heavy metal. Our larger goats have tried to get threw it to no avail and it has held up to their attemps.
