Watering sheep on pasture

What have you seen to be the best ways to water sheep while intensive grazing. Certainly a permanent waterer in each paddock would be one way. Any others?

Thanks

The best way to water sheep will be different on each farm. If your pastures are close to a well (within a half mile ) I prefer running 3/4 or 1" black plastic pipe over the ground and pump the water to the paddock.
If you have a pond or a stream close you can water from there, but I like to keep the animals out of the water. Making a single access point and putting down rock will help to keep the sheep safe and the water clean.
My least favorite water source is a water wagon. It will always be empty when you do not have time to fill it.
