Dear Sir

I am a South African Dorper sheep breeder and international judge. I have judged Dorpers extensively across the US and presented a judging school in Oregon last Fall. I was priviledged to acquire a few of your products to take home with me to SA, among others some 2x eartags , hoof trimmers and a lovely 4000 s shearing machine, what a pleasure!. It is with the same enthusiasm that I would like to ask the following two questions:
a) What is the development status of microchips for inplantation into sheep ears for identification purposes and if available in the US , who supplies them?

b) Since arriving home after my trip to the US I have introduced many SA breeders to your products. It seems as if many folk would be keen to order from your catalogue but we are unsure if you would be willing to ship it to us across the Atlantic. We could probably get a big order together so that we save on shipping costs. Would you look into that possibility if at all possible. I ussually buy my own products each time I am in the US but cannot carry all the stuff needed by everyone else.

Look forward to your reply

Sir,

Thank you for generous reply.

Obviously we are pleased that the products from Premier that you now have in S. Africa are working for you. Certainly we would consider shipping to S. Africa.

However, we have recently been approached by a S. African firm re. our shearing and clipping products in particular. They are:

Francois de Wet.
Evolac cc
P.O. Box 22375
Extonweg
9313
Republic of South Africa.
evolac@cscape.co.za

We shipped out product to them recently. Perhaps you might approach them - and encourage them to expand their offering -- since it is not expensive to add to an existing shipment.

As it happens, I am considering coming to S. Africa in Oct. 2005 (international mtg to discuss the safety of electric fence energizers). Would it be possible to make contact with you then? (We have Dorper genetics in our flock @ Premier.) If so, please respond with contact details (phone number, address, etc.)

Stan Potratz, Owner
