I have just purchased a butane dehorner from your company. I was wondering what do you recommend putting on the burnt area once the goat kid has been
dehorned.

I only worry about it during fly season, then I would use the Catron IV spray. I would of course be very careful to avoid getting it in their eyes when spraying....

This dehorner I bought has a 14mm head. Is this head too large for small pigmy
goat kids? Also, I would like some instuctions on how to use this dehorner properly since this is my first attempt at dehorning!

This is the smallest tip that they sell, it should be fine.
When you use the dehorner, you will find that each kid is a little different as to how long you must hold it on their head. You want to make a very dark brown ring around the horn. The bud will work loose and fall away.
