The amount of pain that would be felt at the fence when using the P5 (or any other energizer) is very dependant on many conditions. Such as the conductors used, length of fence, weed load or shorting on fence, soil conditions, type for soles on shoes, moisture conditions (dews etc) and energizer grounding, conductivity of person or animal touching fence. The goal of an energizer is to deliver an effective shock on the fence. The amount of pain (shock or ouch) received has many variables as mentioned previously and can change throughout the day with a working system delivering an effective shock at all times
