Hi,
We have about 12 angora goats. My two new bucks and my older buck are fighting through the fence. Our pens are made out of Tee Post and Cattle panels. They've hit the fencing so hard they broke the welds and the

A common fix that normally works well for animals fighting through a common fence is the introduction of properly electrified offset strands on both sides of fence. Goats in general may be harder to shock but you are also fencing hormones making the pain requirements of the fence possibly higher than fencing does. Most times a single offset strand on both sides works well other time 2 or more strands on each side may be required.

Almost any of the conductors will work fine. Would recommend selecting one that can be installed under low tension and is easy to work with. Ropes will work, I personally would probably use the IntelliTwine because of its low tension and ease of installation. Use offset insulators on both sides of the fence (post type dictates the type of insulators to use). If you would like to work up an estimated materials list please (800-282-6631) call with your distances, type & numbers of posts so we may figure a materials list. Solar energizers will work in your application as long as everything is sized properly for your application.

Thanks
Scott
