Is anyone aware of someone experienced that could do some fencing design consulting on a small scale in south central PA? If not someone that installs fencing, maybe an seasoned shepherd/goat person that could help us make some good decisions. We are about to invest in some HT fencing for sheep and goats on our property and would appreciate any good advice that someone could provide. We would even consider paying someone to consult, if they were experienced and could provide long-term guidance. The local Cooperative extension could not direct us to anyone and just provided some printouts from the internet on fencing. I tried contacting a well-established fence installer in our area and from the interaction can see that it is up to you to know what you want. And we do know to a point what we want to fence in. However, as in most situations, everything is not ideal. For instance, we have a stream splitting our pasture area and don't quite know how to work it in long term. Anyway, any help or advice would be appreciated.
