Can a horse and a ram share a pasture together?

Horses and sheep can be in the same pasture. But when you first put them
together watch them for a while. Some horses can become mean and
chase the sheep .

2 of our horses are fine with sheep and actually play with our ram when he tries to "ram" them. But our QH gelding tries to kill the sheep, using front feet and teeth. We have to be very careful not to let them together.
