Too bad Premier has not had the time to answer this. I don't work at Premier, but I have been a customer since almost the beginning. At various times of the year, I use up to 23 rolls of the Premier1 netting.

I am far from an expert, but when I have followed the advice of Premier, I have done well.

Keep in mind as it says in the catalog....use the right charger or it can MELT YOUR FENCE. I know, because I have proved it on my own farm...lol The whole fence doesn't melt, you just end up with a bunch of breaks. "Weed Eaters" are especially bad.

It has nothing to do with joules. I use a very high power Premier 1206 now and have never melted Electronet with it. An older Agway charger rated at only 1 joule ruined several rolls of fence for me.

As I said, I don't work for Premier, but a new charger from Premier can be cheap compared to melted Electronet!! The Patriot P10 and P20 look like they have a lot of zap for not much cash, but if I had to buy a charger today it would be the Intellishock 506. It is a lot of money, but it will last a long time, and your fence will get real respect.
