Posts for rocky soil

I want to put up a temporary fence to divide my small pasture (1 acre) in half so that I can fertilize and reseed half of it, while allowing the animals to use the other half. I have a horse, 2 goats and a sheep. The horse is old and docile. None of them have ever seen an electric fence. The boundary fence is a post and rail fence with woven wire tacked to the inside. I have 2 questions:

1. Can you suggest the best fence for this application?

2. My soil is extremely rocky and it is impossible to use step-in plastic posts. Do you have any temporary posts that are sturdy enough to be hammered into the ground?

I would use fiber rods and a drive cap. You can pound them in with a hammer.
Then use 3 or 4 strands of intelli twine for the fence.
