20B energizer + 165 AH EzePower 9 Volt Battery

I've recently purchased the 20B with the 165 AH 9V battery to charge 5 of your 35 in. nets. I opted not the purchase the solar charger as this pasture will be done in December. I've noticed that rain or heavy dew situations really seem to tax this system. My BriteLite goes out and the charger is clearly compromised. I still have some juice in the lines (about 1000v) but wonder if I've over-taxed this unit. Should I remove some nets? Anything else I can do to keep the otherwise stellar performance up to snuff? I try to keep the fence clean by mowing when it needs it. I really need the protection at night when dogs and coyotes are snooping around. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

B Underwood

If the power comes back up to 3-4000 volts when the grass is dry
then I would leave the net. When the grass is wet the animals you
want to shock are also wet and making a goog ground connection.
It wil take less volts to stop them.

The voltage does indeed come up when the grass (and everything else) dries out. I wanted to make sure I wasn't taxing the system too badly.

Thanks.
