poultry net in winter

I've been using the 42" poultry net with solar charger since June on my small flock of chickens. I lost a couple this past month due only to fly overs (silly chickens). Otherwise, so far, so good.
As we head into winter, what do I need to be thinking about as far as keeping my fence working in snow, etc.
Thanks:)

Snow can be a problem with electric fence. If it is deep enough the animal will
not make a ground contact. This will cause the shock to be less or not at all.
You can also have a problem with blowing snow. If it driftes up high enough it
can pull the net down. In high snow areas most people do not use net in the
winter.
