Newborn Lamb & Kid covers

I just got my new catalog.
What was your experience with these this past winter? When the "polar fleece" gets wet does it still help to keep the lamb warm as wool would? How does it clasp at the front?

Wet or dry it will help to hold the lambs own body heat in.It also works as
a wind break that prevents the wind from pulling the heat away.
The lamb cover is one piece that fits over the lamb.
