Fencing smaller cattle

I'd like some tips on fencing for smaller cattle, like Dexters and Lowlines. They tend to top out around 48 inches shoulder. How many strands of high-tensile wire should I use, and how high should the top and bottom wires be? How many strands of electric should I integrate into the fence? What are the best kinds of gates to use when setting up a high tensile fence? And if my longest run is about 600 feet, can I use an auger and set wooden posts at the corners, and then use metal T posts every 50 feet or so, or should there be additional wooden posts set deep along that run as well?

Thanks.

I would use 5-7 strands of HT wire with two of them being hot.The top wire should
be 40-44" high.
Pipe gates would be the best choice for a permanent fence.
Corner posts can be hand set and should be 48" deep.
T posts will work as line posts but I would put one every 25'.
