I have a Premier 4000c that I have sheared 30-40 lambs with over the last 3 years. I bought the clipper new. The first year they worked great, no problems. I sent my blades in to be sharpened at premier and put them away til next year. The next year I put new blades in and sheared one lamb and they would not cut anymore. I switched blades and same thing. I went through four sets of blades. I ended up borrowing a set of clippers from someone else to finish. Sent my blades into Premier again to be resharpened. Last year started clipping and same thing. One lamb done and blades won't cut any more. So, borrowed a clipper(Premier 4000c) again and finished clipping using my blades. Now we figured hey, must not be the blades, must be the clipper. Anyway now I talked to another person with the 4000c and says they have the exact same problem. We use plenty of oil and don't use the clipper to do very many sheep. I always set the tension exactly like it says in the book. For what I paid for these clippers they should be better than that. What is the problem with these clippers?
