Ground hay in big bale feeders

I need to feed ground hay this winter(bad first cutting will grind and mix with good 2nd and 3rd). Has anyone used the feeders for ground hay?

Bob,
To my knowledge, no one has ever used our feeders for ground/chopped hay. I think it may work, but I do not know how much waste you will have.
