Triodine

I got my bottle of Triodine. It says to store at room temp. Is it important?? It already got really cold during delivery, and I'd want to keep it in my barn in any case. With iodine (which I am running out of) I kept it in the barn, in a Premier naval dipping contraption, hanging on a nail for quick use. I refill as needed, and clean it only once or twice a year (always just before lambing). Can I use the Triodine the same way? Thanks
