Depends on how much weed load on the fence line. On an average this energizer can run up to 25-30 164 foot nets. Just keep testing the fence and as long as you are getting a reading of 3000 volts or more you should be ok.

Thank you. The cheapie tester I got will not cut it, that I know. The blinkie light just don't cut it. It looks like one of those big a/c units will solve more problems for me than the 12v one I have now. I do wish I had bought it first but don't mind having it on hand, it sure works well for a smaller fence.

The digital voltmeter is easier to read out in the sun. Can also read up to 10000 volts.
