Splice on lead-out wire
Author: Dan

Hello,
I have a Patriot P5 charger and am using the 100' insulated cable that came with it to power a single poultrynet. I would to be able to move the net farther away - can I get another 100' insulated cable and splice the two together? What is the proper way to do this?

Thanks
Dan

You can splice the insulated wire together just make sure to keep the splice up way from anything it can short on. If using under ground put 2 layers of shrink tube around the splice to help keep it from shorting out. Hope this helps.
