Mini horse

I have a mini horse and it should only get 4 hands tall. Are there any special things to keep in mind when raising a mini horse this small?

They are escape artists from the little that I know. My neighbor had one. It got away and was never seen again. So, as usual, don't underestimate this animal. Give him a big pasture, warm stable, a good fence, high quality feed and personal attention and you will have that little horse for a very long time.

I have no personal experience with Mini horses. The things that come to mind are obviously the fence height will need to be much shorter as well as feed pans/bucket and water troughs so that they can reach in.
