Hi
I have friends in DR who have a dairy. They have tried dehorning with paste ( too messy and the calves rub it all over each other), and heat dehorning (too much healing time in the tropics and causes too much pain).
Is there a way to freeze the horn bud and is there an instrument for this?

I have never seen anything that would freeze a horn off or stop it from growing.
