fence charger

I have purchased ten rolls of poultry netting 165 ' long and I do not know the best charger to keep in small hogs they are not getting shocked. I do have three gound rods in place what is the right charger to use how many volts do I need without burning up the fence ?

Hi Bill,
Before you go through the trouble of looking for an energizer for this, have you considered using the Pig QuikFence instead? You can run into problems using the PoultryNet with the pigs because as they work around their fence line, they root up dirt onto the bottom lines causing it to short out. This is a constant issue with pasture pigs and electric fencing and that is why they made the netting specific for pigs. Pig QuikFence sits off the ground 6" but it should keep pigs of various sizes contained with the appropriate voltage. I hope this helps, let me know if you have more questions. Thank you.
