Feeding chopped/ground hay

Do you have any experience or reports on using the Premier build-your-own feeders for feeding chopped hay? This would not be particularly finely ground (4" screen). Thanks

We have many customers that feed chopped hay in our feeders. In order to reduce waste—most people put a piece of plywood on the inside of the feeder panel leaving a few inches open at the bottom. This will keep the chopped hay from falling through.
