Adding another ground rod

I am adding another section of fencing and need to add another ground rod. I am using a hot shock 600 and my other rod is attached to it. How do I attach the additional ground rod? What spacing between the rods is needed?

The new ground rod should be 10' from the first one. They should be connected with an insulated galvanized wire. Stainless steal hose clamps work well for the connections.
