Author: Gordon  Date:   01-14-14 18:16 The protein level depends on the type of goat and the time of year it is.The same thing with the type of hay. If the goat is feeding kids it needs much better feed than if it is just roaming around in the pasture. As far as the best pasture to plant talk to your county extension agent. He will be able to tell you what will grow best in your part of the USA. He will know your soil types and growing season.
