Goat fence and bears

We have a lot of Black Bear trouble in our area.

Will the electric netting fence keep out the Bears?

The Bear Quikfence® is made to help keep them out. You will have to keep the fence electrified and test the fence for a reading of 4000 volts or more. No fence is 100% but this is one we found works the best!

The shock come out in pulses which is shorter then a heart beat so it should not do any damage to the goats unless they get tangled in the fence. This is why suggest to train the animals to the fence before leaving. Always test the fence for a reading of 3000 volts or more.
