Feed-o-matic

I purchased a large Feed-o-matic and my bantams are too light to make it work (they are full grown). Any suggestions? I don't want to leave it open all the time since that defeats the purpose of it, but not sure how to weigh it down part way.

The Large Feed-O-Matic can be adjusted to activate to as low as one pound. If your bantams are lighter than this, you may have to use a few small pieces of wood, or something similar to make up the weight difference.
