What is the best method for tubing lambs, and to be sure it is not going down the wrong pipe.

I have never tube fed a lamb before, but that was a topic in the boards I go to. They were talking about a baby goat, and this web article was mentioned. Maybe it will help.

If you place your fingers under the lambs chin across the throat you will be able to feel the tube slide past. If you can't feel it then you are in the wrong spot.

If a lamb is 10 lbs. he needs 50 ml per hour, so I would give him 140 ml. Then come back and check him to see that he is nursing.
