Bottle or Self Feed Baby Lambs

If you start out feeding warm EMR on a schedule, can you switch over to the self feeding method? And if so, do you just make the switch all at once? With small or new lambs with no mother seems you wouldn't start out with the cold self feed.

I have done it both ways and found that all lambs are a little different. The younger the lamb the easier it is to start them. And if your in a hurry it is best to start with a little warm milk first.
Then switch to cold. If I have a lamb already on the bucket with cold milk then he will help the new ones start.
