ewe with ear problem

I have a ewe she is about 9 years old. She has an ear that keeps getting infection.
The flies blow it and I have to keep it clean some how.

Is the infection from a tag or was the ear damaged some other way?

When I got her she had a tag in her ear. But as she got older the ear look
like be deformed . I do not want to put down because she is a good mom
ewe. I need help for her.

If you have taken the tag out then all you need to do at this point is to
heal the wound. I would use peroxide or gentle iodine for a few days
and see if this helps. The ear may always be deformed but the ewe
will be fine.
