Clippers for horse and sheep

Hi.

I have an Icelandic horse who I need to body clip in the summer and bib/trace clip in the winter, and have just acquired two lambs (a Finnsheep x East Friesian and an Icelandic x East Friesian). I would like to buy one set of clippers to use on both species if possible. The horse has a tremendously thick, heavy coat, and I had been borrowing a pair of Oster Clipmaster variable speed clippers cranked to the highest setting with success. When I moved. and could no longer borrow, I bought an Oster A5 Turbo whuch just is *not* up to the job.

Can one of the Premeir clippers work for me on both horse and sheep?

Thanks,
/Roo

You would do well with the Premier 1000c; the same clipper can do the different species, you will just use different blades. I recommend the Medium blades for your horse (body and trace clips) and the Merlin 13 tooth (available this fall) for the sheep.
