Wormers

I have a mixed herd/flock with goats, and sheep. They are due to be wormed, and I was wondering what I should use. I have been using Safe-Guard, and Ivomec, switching between the two. I am concerned that parasites will become resistant to them, because I have been using them for many years. A vet once prescribed Lavamasol wormer for my goats, but I was wondering if it was safe to use on sheep. I also need to know the dosage. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Kasodi

We sell one Levasole product that is labeled for sheep. It is a powder that you mix with water before dosing. A packet has 11.7 g levasole hudrochloride which makes 32 oz of drench. 1 oz is given per 100# of sheep.

Unfortunately I can't give you any advise - we do not have a veterinarian on staff and therefore cannot offer suggestions regarding medicines.
