Brass Ferrules for Netting
Product Details
Neat item used to repair broken horizontals in electric netting.
Makes for a quick tidy repair. Tying knots in the string works, but doesn't always make a good connection with the metal strands. The brass ferrule helps eliminate that problem.

These ferrules work good for repairs and have not found them any cheaper anywhere else. But I wish that there was a tool for them except for just using pliers.

Easy to use and install.

Brass ferrules work the best of anything we have tried to repair electric net fences. It takes a bit of practice to apply them with pliers and make both sides of the ferrule curl around the wire, but once you’ve got it, they are a quick repair that doesn’t add a lot of bulk to the fence, and they don’t usually catch on neighboring wires and cause tangles.
I gave them a “4 star” due to the trickiness of application.
A tool to specifically apply them would be a help.

These work well for their intended purpose. They are easy enough to install for a wire repair, but they would benefit greatly with an appropriate crimping tool. I think it absurd that you have to buy these one-at-a-time. They should be packaged in lots of 25, 50, or 100. I tried to find these elsewhere and could not locate an exact copy.

I’m giving these a 5 star rating because they are exactly what I need right now to mend fence and Premier sends them out quickly, just as it should all be.
However, please know that I’m still dropping and losing these in the grass, and then pinching my fingers in the pliers, and occasionally incorrectly pinching the little things so that they have to be thrown out and the whole time I’m hurling 5 star cuss words about!
I would recommend them until someone can engineer something better!
