How to Use
- Ensure that the baby lamb receives colostrum during its first 24 hours of life.
- When hand feeding with a nipple bottle or doing restricted feeding, offer milk warm at 100˚F. It is recommended to offer 3 to 6 feedings per day of warm milk during the first two weeks of life. Never offer more than 1/2 pint (8 fl oz) per feeding during the first 2 weeks of life.
- After 7 days of age please see special note**.
- Provide good quality lamb creep at 3 to 6 days of age and restrict hay intake to the amount a lamb will eat in an hour.
- Wean lambs at a minimum of 30 days of age and weighing at least 25 lb.
*Measuring cup provided for convenience (enclosed in the bag). Once markings on cup indicate approximate dry weight; weigh for best results.
**Special Note: A feeding program must take into consideration the condition and health of the lambs. After 7 days of age, it is always preferable to feed lambs from group feeders and to offer them cold milk to reduce overconsumption and bloat. Feeding large quantities of warm milk can lead to overconsumption.

Our bottle babies love it, no problems with getting them to accept the bottle. Mixes easily and thoroughly. We have raised several bottle babies over the last few years and all have been very healthy and grown into healthy adults.
