The feeder fits my needs for my small flock. I cannot believe the waste that I had with my former feeder. The Ascot works beautifully and I am very pleased with it.

I gave it 2 stars because when the chickens eat the food, the food in the cylinder does not automatically drop down like other feeders. I have to manually shake it to get the food down. The reason I purchased this was for the cover.

I have found that feed doesn't flow very well from the reservoir into the pan. This is particularly true with crumbles, but also with pellets.

Love this for 2 week old chicks! I put a lil' step-stool for my bantam cochins, works perfect and litter stays out of food!
