How To Use

How to Use:

Collect sample — Collect 2–3 mL of blood from the animal. Test at the appropriate post-breeding interval (see label).
Add sample — Add 2 drops (approximately 50 µL) of whole blood, serum or plasma to the sample well on the test card.
Add diluent — Add 2 drops (approximately 50 µL) of sample diluent to the sample well. Allow the test to develop and read results at 20 minutes. Results shown after 50 minutes are considered invalid.

Result Interpretation:

Pregnant

Two lines appear: a control line (C) and a test line (T). The test line may be dark or faint—any visible test line indicates the animal is pregnant.

Open

Only the control line (C) appears. No visible test line (T) indicates the animal is open (not pregnant).

Invalid

If no control line (C) appears, the test is invalid and should be repeated with a new test kit.

Detection Principle

The Auker Ruminant Early Pregnancy Rapid Test detects pregnancy-associated proteins (PAGs) in whole blood (EDTA), serum or plasma. After the sample is added, any pregnancy proteins present bind to special antibodies in the test. As the liquid moves across the test strip, this reaction creates a visible red line at the test (T) position. If pregnancy proteins are present, a red line will appear at the T line. The darker the line, the higher the protein level. If no pregnancy proteins are present, no line will appear at the T position. A control line (C) will always appear if the test is working properly. If the control line does not appear, the test is invalid and should be repeated.

This product is for single use only. Do NOT reuse.

If the test line (T) is very faint or unclear, there may be a risk of embryo loss. It is recommended to retest after 7–10 days for more accurate results.

Test accuracy depends on proper sample collection and handling. Improper collection, poor storage, or stale or contaminated samples may affect results.
