It's common for a bead of water to hang off the nipple and occasionally drip. This is common with all types of poultry nipples. When testing this waterer, the drips were not bothersome to neither our birds nor us.

Received the bucket nipple waterer the other day and was very pleased. My chickens now had very clean water all the time. I will be ordering another one or two soon. Only wish they were bigger.

I am so very happy that I made this purchase! The waterer is very easy to fill and I no longer have to clean their water supply everyday. They get fresh, clean water and I get zero hassle. Very easy to hang with the included rope and hooks.

I like the fact that I don't have to clean and refill water containers every day for my backyard chickens . It's great !

I made all my nipple waterers and have used for maybe two years. When my friend got this one i could see it was a HUGE improvement! The cover its tightly so it keeps out all the dust. mine would have a film of dust over the top as the lids did not fit tight. this stays clean and i only change the water every 4 days just to keep fresh. NO algae, NO dust. i will gradually keep buying til i have 5....2 in yard, 2 in pen and one for babies when needed. When i am introducing to new babies i teach ONE bird to use it and then they all get it. the nipples do not have to be red. i make sure they see the water by tapping the nipple and then i put their beaks up to it so they know the water comes out...they learn so fast! i also remove all other water and then watch to be sure they know AND i don't do that on the hottest day! i am ordering my second one today!
